In 2017, I embarked on a project with the aim of preserving and showcasing the people, spirit, and culture of Cape Town, South Africa. I decided to use film photography as the medium to document the essence of the city and its diverse communities, cultural heritage, natural beauty, and bustling streets.

Being a resident of Cape Town, I felt a strong desire to create a visual legacy of the city that would provide future generations with an understanding of its rich history and culture. Since starting the project, I have captured a wide range of subjects and scenes throughout the city. I am committed to continuing my efforts to create a comprehensive visual archive of Cape Town and to create a lasting legacy that will educate and inspire.
